Cincy Tweetup Friday December 12

Last month was my first Tweetup with other telecommuters in Cincinnati. Our first choice venue was unexpectedly closed, so we had to make the best of it at Panera for the day.

This time we’ll give Crossroads Community Church another try. They have a free open space with wifi. I’m told there are no evangelistic strings attached. There are already 16 RSVPs on the Eventbrite signup, so it looks like a good group.

There’s no agenda. No speakers or seminars, just adult human contact in a shared workspace.

Working with a toddler and a baby in the next room for most of the week, I find it a nice bit of variety to take the laptop outside the house and get a change of scene in the workday.

Thanks to Amybeth Hale, who organized the event. Her blog has a video recap of the November Tweetup.
